UABI provides accreditation as per international standard i.e., ISO 17043:2010 which specifies Conformity assessment General requirements for Proficiency testing. This standard generally specifies general requirements for the competence of providers of proficiency testing schemes and for the development enhancement of proficiency testing schemes. International standards which are in line with ISO 17043:2010 is ISO 13528:2021 providing detailed guidance on the use of respective methods in proficiency testing techniques.
It is the criteria that defines or evaluate CAB performance in terms of testing as per relevant defined criteria such as Indian standards/ISO/CPWD/MoRTH/APHA/Compendium/ AOAC etc.
Provides confidence in terms of testing to CAB and technicians respectively against pre-defined criteria set-up by PT providers.
